CVT transmission failure

Same Jatco CVT family as the Altima with the same fate — shudder, whine, overheating limp mode, then failure. Nissan extended some warranties to 84k miles. Past that, an unserviced CVT is a countdown clock; test drive at highway speed and uphill.
