Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Remote Tactical LLC, doing business as NoLemon ("NoLemon," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use nolemon.ai, app.nolemon.ai, and our related services (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. What we collect

• Account information: your email address, used for passwordless sign-in, report delivery, and support.
• Report inputs: VINs you check, and details you enter such as asking price, mileage, ZIP code, and a listing link.
• Preferences you save: for example a budget, or whether you want email updates or price-drop alerts for a car.
• Purchase records: which credit pack you bought, when, and the payment partner's transaction reference. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Content you send us: listings, problem reports, ratings, suggestions, and support emails.
• Device and usage data: a random device identifier (to enforce free-check limits), IP address, browser type, pages visited, links clicked (for example which dealer listings are opened, recorded without your identity), and error logs.

2. What we don't collect

No full payment card numbers, government ID numbers, precise location, or contact lists. Vehicle data relates to vehicles, not people. We do not request or use personal information from motor vehicle records about past or current owners.

3. How we use information

To provide and secure the Service; generate Briefs and free checks; process purchases and credits; send sign-in links, report notices, and other service emails; send updates you opted in to; prevent fraud, abuse, and multiple-account or referral misuse; provide support; analyze and improve the Service; enforce our Terms; and comply with law.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers who process data for us under contract, including: payment processing (Stripe, which acts as merchant of record and handles your payment details under its own privacy policy); vehicle-data providers (such as NHTSA and commercial market, title, and NMVTIS data providers), which receive the VIN and report inputs but not your email; automated writing tools, which receive vehicle facts for a report but not your email; email delivery (SMTP2GO); dealer-review data (Outscraper), which receives dealer names; hosting and security (Vultr, Cloudflare); web analytics (GetClicky, which logs pages visited; in the app those page addresses can include the VIN you are viewing); product analytics and error tracking (PostHog, Sentry); and advertising measurement (TikTok Pixel, which records page visits and purchase events so we can measure our ads).
• When you choose to share: share links and public for-sale listings show the content you publish, including the vehicle, VIN, asking price, city, and the contact line you type. Your account email is never shown, and shared Briefs never include budget information.
• Legal and safety: to comply with law, legal process, or government requests, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of NoLemon, our users, or others, including fraud prevention and enforcing our Terms.
• Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, under this policy's protections.
• Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you, for any purpose (for example, pricing trends and "how many people checked this model" counts).

5. Email

Service emails (sign-in links, report-ready notices, listing reminders, and a one-time request for feedback on your Brief) are part of the Service. Marketing and update emails, including price-drop alerts for a car, are sent only if you opt in, and you can turn them off at any time from the email's unsubscribe link or in My Reports. We record when you gave consent.

6. Cookies and browser storage

We use browser storage for your sign-in session, device identifier, and in-progress actions (for example a car you were about to check). Analytics and the TikTok Pixel may set cookies or similar identifiers to measure site use and ad performance. We do not run third-party ad networks on the Service. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; some features may stop working.

7. Retention

We keep information for as long as your account is open and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we remove your email and identifiers from your account record, take down your listings and share links, and keep purchase, credit, and fraud-prevention records in de-identified form for accounting, tax, chargeback, and abuse prevention. Vehicle data (not tied to you) and aggregated statistics are kept. Backups roll off on a regular schedule.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us.

9. Your choices and rights

You can delete your account at any time in the app, and change email preferences in My Reports. You can also email [email protected] to access, correct, or delete your information. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information where the law requires or allows. Residents of some states have additional rights under their state's law; we will honor those that apply to us.

10. Children

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

11. United States only

The Service is operated from, and data is stored in, the United States.

12. Changes

We may update this policy by posting a new version with a new effective date. For material changes we will also give notice in the Service or by email.
