LG battery fire recall — full HV pack replacement

Some 2019-2020 Kona Electric packs used LG cells that can short inside and catch fire (NHTSA recall 21V-127). Hyundai's remedy was a free full battery-pack replacement, not just a software update. Ask for proof the recall was actually completed and the pack swapped, and run the VIN on Hyundai's recall site. If it was never fixed and the car is outside the 10yr/100k battery warranty, a new pack runs well over $10,000.
